ABOUT KRIS

I have been a practitioner and student in the healing arts for over 10 years.  Having studied many massage & bodywork modalities and treated countless people at several top luxury resort spas, I interweave my experience to meet the needs of each individual.  I’ve also studied extensively with the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy School and incorporate this wisdom into my practice.  In addition I have been a practitioner of hatha yoga for over 15 years including studying the philosophy of yoga with Yogi Sivadas in Dharmasala, India.  My work today is a synthesis of these varied disciplines, supporting the individual toward deeper awareness and understanding of their bodymind.  I have been guiding people on their own journey of self-healing through years of studying mindfulness, loving presence, nourishing communication and self-discovery.

I have learned the power of inner wisdom, energetic presence, and intuitive body-centered transformation.  It is my intention to provide a safe and sacred space for you to experience your own self.  I believe that everything we need to know to accept growth and change is within us and by connecting deeply to that inner knowing we can begin to heal.

I have been a vegetarian for 20 years, primarily vegan and gluten-free. I support an organic, sustainable lifestyle and am an avid hiker and traveler.  I twice spent 6 months traveling in India where I received two 23-day Ayurveda treatments and learned the healing benefits of this age-old practice.   I have also traveled to Indonesia, Thailand, Europe, Central and South America, Mexico and many places in the U.S.
